On the Move…

So, it’s been far too long since we updated anything on our website – for that I apologize.  Lot’s of exciting things have happened, including Jonathan’s 4th and Gabe’s 1st birthdays.  We had a great trip to Walt Disney World over Spring Break with Renee’s folks, a great trip to my Aunt Lori and Uncle Randy’s house in Lynchburg, VA over Easter, and a great trip Gatlinburg, TN with the Peters’ and Owens’ over Memorial Day.  I hope to get some pictures up soon, but can’t promise anything, as we’ll be pretty busy the next few weeks, what with the packing, moving and starting a new job. An Ice Day

It took 45 minutes to bring Jonathan to his preschool this morning–even though it’s only a couple of miles down the road. We had some freezing rain come over the mountain last night and this morning, making the roads and sidewalks slick and dangerous. There was an accident right out in front of Covenant (hence the delay in getting down the road), and after delaying classes two hours, the administration decided to cancel classes today. Covenant is located right on top of Lookout Mountain, and several faculty and staff members live down the mountain in the Chattanooga area, making the drive up on icy roads quite dangerous. So, meetings are canceled and we may catch up on some movies. Continue reading An Ice Day
